Customer Experience Executive - Remote


Customer Service Executive will handle customer requests for spot quotes, booking and tracking, and arrange respective services with subcontractors. Establish relationships with customers and subcontractors and secure high-quality customer service to achieve increase in volumes of services rendered and profitability. Critical to success is a candidate who is customer-oriented and possesses deep knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics.


* Throughout this document the term customer refers to the actual customers (owners of goods, shippers, consignees, etc.) and counterpart ILS offices.


Salary: Mid $70,000 annually


Location: Remote


Duties and responsibilities

  • Process customer requests fast and efficiently.
  • Consult customers on the specifics of transportation, possible solutions and routes, Incoterms, customs clearance, etc.
  • Interact with customers for spot quotation, order placement, obtaining required information and documents, providing order execution status, outstanding payments, etc.
  • Interact with approved subcontractors for spot quotation, placement and execution of customer orders.
  • Verify the correctness and sufficiency of information and documents.
  • Issue required documents and reports and control document flow.
  • Enter in IT system customer requests, spot quotes and all necessary information for the order placement and execution.
  • Benchmark rates and spot quotes from subcontractors to ensure profit maximization.
  • Ensure strict compliance with contractual and/or order terms and conditions, SOP and SLA.
  • Take timely actions in case of irregularities, complaints and claims.
  • Share customer/subcontractor feedback on company performance with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure correct and timely billing of customers.
  • Ensure representing the company in a professional and consultative manner.


    Qualifications
    • Candidate with 3 years of proven experience in similar positions at Freight Forwarding / Logistics companies.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge and/or experience in transportation, warehousing, project logistics, foreign trade, customs clearance and certification.
    • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and with a large amount of information, stress resistance.
    • High level of customer orientation and empathy.
    • Ability to reach an agreement and resolve conflicts.
    • Ability to coordinate team activities.
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
    • Fluency in English.
