Job Description:
A company is looking for an Aquaculture Adjunct Faculty
Member.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach aquaculture courses for the online baccalaureate program in
Marine Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture
Deliver courses asynchronously online for five weeks in eight terms
throughout the year
Design and implement courses such as Sustainable Aquaculture
Techniques: Growing Shellfish and Finfish, and Sustainable
Aquaculture Techniques: Crustaceans and Pathobiology
Required Qualifications:
Terminal degree (e.g. PhD) in Marine Biology or related field, or a
master's degree with ample experience in the profession
Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is
highly desirable
Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated
software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the
university
