Job Description:

A company is looking for a Coding Associate III.
Key Responsibilities:

Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures according to appropriate classification systems
Review physician assigned diagnosis codes and query for additional clarity if necessary
Accurately abstract information from medical records into the abstract system

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
CCS or CPC certification
Experience with both Professional and Facility coding
Minimum of 2 years of active coding experience
Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and rules
