Job Description MotionPoint---s Business Development team is a tight-knit and growing team, looking to expand and add individuals with diverse backgrounds who want to grow. Our team---s goal is to support Sales and Marketing---s missions to help drive quality pipeline resulting in deals closed for the organization and expand direct sales opportunities through our partnership channels. This individual will schedule new meetings with prospective customers. MotionPoint---s Business Development Representatives are rewarded for their success with a competitive incentive plan on top of a base salary. Training and ongoing professional development are provided in a high-energy, motivating, team sales environment. Responsibilities Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads Demonstrate and teach strong selling and influencing skills Qualify opportunities Strategic account planning with Account Executives Qualifications 6 months-2 years of technology-as-a-service sales experience; internship experience will be taken into consideration Previous cold calling experience Proficiency in researching and building out accounts for outreach Results driven & competitive nature Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal/external clients Outstanding time management skills and timely follow-up Ability to learn and understand new products and technology Commitment to independent learning and training
