Job Description:

Kavaliro's client is seeking an experienced IBM Developer to join their dynamic team. This position will focus on software development, troubleshooting, and end-user support, specifically working with IBM iSeries applications and modern reporting tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both legacy and contemporary systems to maintain and enhance enterprise-level software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain software applications, primarily on IBM iSeries and SQL platforms.
Create and manage reports using Analytics Now/Cognos, Crystal Reports, and PowerBI to analyze critical business data.
Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and implement software systems.
Design and develop applications in Laserfiche and provide training and support to end-users.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring high levels of system availability and performance.
Collaborate across departments to understand data needs, optimize reporting, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Assist in software upgrades, data migrations, and system integrations.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, training materials, and user guides.

Qualifications:8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly with IBM iSeries and SQL.
Proficient in Analytics Now/Cognos, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, and Laserfiche.
Solid understanding of Central Square Naviline software and its operational uses.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Strong foundation in security standards and compliance practices.
Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues in a multi-platform environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and interact effectively with users and technical teams.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data analysis and report generation.
