Job Description:

Seeking a Mid-Level programmer to join our team.In Office Position in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida areaResponsibilities:

• Work closely with designers and clients to translate visual designs into dynamic functional interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Active participation in all phases of the site development life cycle from functional specs, architecture, programming, testing and implementation
• Translating static PSD and XD design layouts into dynamic pixel-perfect web/mobile interfaces while keeping the intended creative integrity (Must be familiar with some design software. Photoshop experience a plus, XD experience a plus)
• Developing sites using responsive techniques for near-universal device compatibility
• Developing and maintaining websites - existing and new, foundational programming
• Integrating of social media platforms - tracking and ad pixel configuration
• Integrating CRMs such as Hubspot and Salesforce to web applications
• Testing and debugging existing code (QA experience, Unit testing is a plus)
• Converting written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats (WebP, AVIF)
• Utilizing back-end code to develop interfaces for projects (PHP, node.js is a plus)
• Analyzing user needs to implement changes to website content, graphics, performance, and capacity
• Troubleshooting server and website issues that may arise for existing and potential clients (DNS and CLI experience may be required)
• Integrating websites with other web applications utilizing API endpoints (RESTful, GraphQL is a plus)
• Keeping up-to-date with web development industry trends, and looking to enhance existing user experience; New ideas and contributions that enhance productivity in the web department are always welcomed.Qualifications:
  • 2 - 3 years of experience with essential web technologies including: HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery (JavaScript framework experience is a plus)
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in WordPress development, custom WordPress functionality, plugins, and themes
  • 1 - 2 years Advanced Custom Fields experience - used to produce customer user interfaces for editing custom page templates
  • 1- 2 years of experience utilizing e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and implementing APIs into applications
  • Shopify experience is a plus
  • 1 year of on-page SEO programming experience (HTML proper site structure); understanding of SEO tools is a plus
  • Understanding of SEO best practices in web development
  • Familiarity with Wordpress native functionality - WPQuery, WP API, Custom Post Types
  • Server and DNS management experience (maintaining, migrating and launching sites)
  • Understanding of how to utilize version control systems like GitHub
  • Experience integrating third-party restful APIs
  • Experience working with Linux hosting platforms (cPanel, Plesk, phpMyAdmin)
  • Optimizing page load times via PageSpeed Insights
  • Knowledge of cross-browser issues and solutions
