DescriptionOur office is a prominent, well established general practice with a RAPID growing orthodontic department in the Coral Springs area. We are looking for a progressive, experienced, caring and enthusiastic person to join our fast-paced team. Key TaskThe requirements listed below are representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All tasks assigned are not limited to other dental assistant duties. All team members will be cross trained to be able to flow together seamlessly throughout a work day.

• Performing orthodontic adjustments
• Preparing teeth for bonding and debonding
• Assisting in the placement and removal of appliances
• Sterilizing instruments and operatories
• Taking digital radiographs
• Taking alginate impressions
• Fixed retainer fabrication and cementation
• Bracket set-up/placement
• Charting of patient information
• Communication with patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene
• Encouraging, educating, and motivating patients to follow the recommendations of the Doctor
• Inventory control
