Senior Revenue Accounting Director

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Revenue Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of four, overseeing revenue monthly close and reporting activities
Review customer contracts and provide revenue recognition input during contract negotiations
Perform technical accounting research, prepare accounting position papers, and implement new accounting pronouncements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
10+ years of management experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606
Experience in a similar role in a publicly traded software company is preferred
