  What are the responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
  
  • Spearhead the implementation of automation and efficiency initiatives within the accounting department.
    
  • Elevate the department's practices by implementing best-in-class procedures.
    
  • Establish a robust accounting controls framework to uphold the integrity of financial statements.
    
  • Craft and enforce policies and procedures that align with the department's growth trajectory.
    
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
    
  • Provide support for daily treasury and cash management activities.
    
  • Cultivate a high standard of work through staff development and training.
    
  • Review journal entries and ensure full compliance with GAAP in financial reporting.
    
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
    What the company needs in an Accounting Manager:
    
    • CPA highly preferred
      
    • Bring 5-10 years of total experience to the table
      
    • Possess a strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
      
    • Demonstrate meticulous organizational skills and structured work orientation.
      
    • Financial services or banking experience is a PLUS but not required
