Traffic Control Manager About the Company: This company is a high growth nationally certified woman-owned business enterprise operating in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Colorado and Washington DCthat provides traffic safety services and products to utility companies, private contractors, and specialty firms. They specialize in physically setting up and maintaining safety zones, complete with qualified flaggers and safety equipment around our customers' construction and event sites. Another core service is the sale and rental of traffic control equipment including attenuator trucks, message and arrow boards, light towers, traffic drums, signs, barricades, barrels, and cones. The management team is mostly comprised of retired law enforcement and career-minded construction professionals. We also employ skilled field technicians that are members of a nationally recognized union.

• Most of the management team around the country consists of former law enforcement. Lots of training is provided.
  
• This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing a small crew of 7-9 direct reports right now but looking to increase to 25-30 staff.
  
• This person will be delegating work, interviewing, completing reports, etc.
  
• A company pick-up truck is provided(able to take it home every night).
  
• The standard hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM but will require more than the standard 40 hours per week initially (salaried). Nice benefits package, FULLY paid medical (including family-level plan). Immediate hire. $90K - $100K annually. Direct Hire.

  Traffic Control ManagerRequirements:
  
  • 
    
  • The qualified candidate shall possess proven Supervisory skills with five (5+)years of previous highway construction safety experience, knows safety rules, construction zone traffic flow set-up regulations, familiarwith FDOT, etc. hasexcellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills. The qualified candidate must possess the ability to work independently and exercise complete confidentiality with all of the work content.
    
    
    Traffic Control Manager Responsibilities:
    
    • 
      
    • Establishes operations in our newest branch location: Pompano Beach, FL. Hires, evaluates and handles new office/location logistics
      
    • Oversees all permit processes with FDOT and other regulatory entities
      
    • Schedules daily crew assignments
      
    • Conduct interviews for new hires
      
    • Develop new and existing customer relationships
      
    • Perform job site visits
      
    • Manage daily crews
      
    • Review and submit timesheets
      
    • Customer Liaison
      
    • Order any rental equipment as needed
      
    • Oversee maintenance of equipment
      
    • Handle safety incident reporting
      
      
      Traffic Control Manager Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • High school diploma or equivalent is required, post high school training in highway/road construction safety is a plus. Bachelor's in related field is highly desired.
        
      • 5+ years of previous highway traffic control / traffic flow safety or related experience
        
      • Should be very familiar Florida Departmentof Highway Safety (FDOT) traffic rules, regulations and laws.
        
      • Ability to manage work flow in a fast paced environment
        
      • Aptitude to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner
        
      • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
        
      • Excellent customer service skills
        
      • Knowledge of MS Office
        
      • Availability to handle scheduling issues by phone outside of regular work hours
