HOERBIGER Corporation of America (HCA) is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager for our manufacturing facility. HCA, part of the global HOERGIBER Compression Technology Group, is a dynamic manufacturer of OEM precision compressor valves and components.The Key Account Manager is responsible for the commercial success, development, and relationship management of his/her accounts, always in alignment with the Regional and BU strategy, utilizing Engineering, Customer Service and ProCS to provide a best-in-class Customer Experience.This position operates out of the Pompano Beach, FL location. For a successful candidate living in the Houston area, position can be based in our La Porte, Texas facility. This is a full-time position, scheduled weekdays. Must be willing/able to travel throughout the region (up to 30% of time), including some international travel.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and order entry targets, based on MRP targets as well as customer and product specific initiatives
  • Account Development - Develop Account Plan (initiatives/activities) based upon customer needs, desired results, Key Stakeholders, Share of Wallet & Competitor situation, and customer short/mid/long term strategy
  • Active Sales Funnel management including Rolling Forecast by means of CRM
  • Use of CRM as the primary communication tool between account management, engineering and customer service
  • Periodic customer visits for the purpose of Product and Service portfolio presentation, project follow up, relationship building, business opportunities but also threats, etc...
  • Identification and/or definition of (customer specific) product and engineering standards and alignment internal engineering group
  • Appropriate product and services selection according the customer need, considering product positioning and pricing
  • Preparation of project related quotations by means of available quotation and engineering tools and according to agreed technical standards, terms & conditions, alternatively together with the segment plant engineering group and customer service.
  • Quote presentation and follow up, price negotiations
  • Support
    • Repeat Business -> Customer Service
    • Order handling -> KAM, Customer Service and Segment Plant Engineering.
    • Follow up and monitoring of main customer KPIs
    • Global Key Account Management - fully responsible for global interaction with this customer (Sales, Pricing, Relationship, Account Strategy)
      Requirements
      Specialized knowledge
      • Reciprocating Compressors - minimum 5 years
      • Processes in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industry
      • Basic understanding of financial reports, profitabilityExperience
        • Minimum two years industry experience in commercial/OEM sales
        • Minimum five years' experience working with reciprocating compressors in a sales, engineering or operations role (or combination thereof)
        • Demonstrated experience making sales presentations and representing company in front of commercial customers, including senior management
        • Prior engineering experience a plusEducation
          • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or similar area of study or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSkills and Traits
            • Strong communication and relationship building skills; customer centric mentality
            • Needs to have a good mechanical aptitude
            • Able to synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data
            • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
            • Work effectively with Microsoft Office Products, CRM (advanced), SAP, OMNIA, ESM
