Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of CNC machinery in a dynamic production environment. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines and indicate jaws accurately. Select and install the appropriate inserts for each application. Adjust tool offsets to prevent machine crashes. Interpret program coordinates and relate them to the zero location of the jaws. Download and select programs from the directory to the machine. Identify and troubleshoot errors effectively. Check for tool wear, breakage, and monitor tool life. Change and preset tools as necessary. Perform deburring with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects. Essential Skills Proficiency in CNC Machine Set Up with at least one machine required. Three to five years of experience in CNC maintenance or related fields. High school diploma or GED. Ability to interpret program coordinates and select appropriate tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in injection molding is a significant advantage. Understanding of tool wear and maintenance. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a production and machine shop environment with shifts available from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and 10 pm to 6 am. Employees must wear PPE, including steel toe boots. The role requires standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts with a manageable noise level. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
