These pipelines will efficiently collect, process, and transform data from diverse sources into usable formats.Data Modeling: Craft and manage data models to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across our systems.ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Develop and refine ETL processes to facilitate the seamless movement and transformation of data.Data Integration: Work on integrating data from various systems and sources, making certain that data quality and reliability are upheld.Data Warehousing: Manage and optimize our data warehousing solutions, which are critical for supporting business reporting and analytics.Data Quality and Governance: Implement rigorous data quality checks, data validation processes, and ensure strict compliance with data governance policies.Performance Tuning: Take charge of optimizing database and query performance to ensure speedy and efficient data retrieval.Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of data pipelines, processes, and comprehensive data dictionaries.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of data requirements and provide tailor-made solutions that meet our evolving business needs.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and address data-related issues by implementing robust monitoring solutions.Required Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, boasting 4-6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).In-depth knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes.Strong grasp of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing.Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Power BI is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $109,748.00 - $118,972.00 per yearWork Location: In person
