Director of Traffic EngineeringKEITH is seeking a Director of Traffic Engineering to join our TEAM and strengthen our growing firm. - This is -an excellent opportunity for positive individuals that fit our energetic culture. The successful candidate will have experience with traffic analysis, traffic impact studies, forecasting and modeling, and leading a team.Responsibilities:

• Lead traffic engineering projects and deliver upon the expectations of the client.
• Delegation and Oversight of workflow to project team. Act as a mentor to traffic/transportation engineers.
• Project management duties: managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.
• Developing and evaluating plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.
• Identifying/foreseeing potential project delays and work opportunities or presenting alternative solutions.
• Acquire basic knowledge and develop skills in a specific practice area.
• Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks.
• Exercise judgment on details of work and in application of standard methods for conventional work.
• Confidently liaising with clients, staff, general public, officials, and contractors.Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years' experience of progressive responsibility in Civil/Traffic Engineering
  • P.E. preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Synchro, and/or Vissim a plus
