Job Description Job Description Industrial Shadeports, Inc., a rapidly expanding leader in custom shade structures, is looking for a full-time Field Supervisor for Outdoor Shade Construction to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. If you're a hands-on leader with a strong drive for successful project execution and a knack for managing multiple crews, we want to hear from you! In this critical role, you'll directly supervise the installation teams of our diverse shade sails and structures, primarily for playgrounds, parks, schools and other areas. You'll be instrumental in ensuring every project is prepared for success, executed with precision, and completed on time and within budget, all while upholding our high standards for quality and safety. What You'll Be Accountable For: Project Preparation: Ensuring all groundwork is laid for a smooth and successful project start. Field Quality: Overseeing installations to strictly adhere to specifications and maintain our reputation for excellence. Job Site Execution: Directing daily operations, managing crews, and problem-solving in the field. Cost & Schedule Control: Keeping projects on track financially and timeline-wise. Field Equipment Management: Ensuring proper use and maintenance of all necessary equipment. Inspection & Final Conclusion: Conducting thorough inspections and ensuring project completion to satisfaction. What You'll Bring: 5 years of construction experience (Required) 2 years of Field Superintendent/Supervision experience (Required) A valid, clean Florida driver's license and reliable transportation (REQUIRED) . Ability to work Saturdays as needed. Fluent English (required); Spanish is a plus. Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Florida. A self-motivated, "get it done" attitude with proven ability to manage multiple field crews and projects. Experience scheduling crews and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Previous experience with canvas awnings, playgrounds, shade sails, or custom engineered construction products is a plus, but not required. Authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant). Successful completion of pre-employment screening and driver's license check. Compensation & Benefits: This full-time position offers compensation ranging from $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (USD) , based on experience and qualifications.
