Mission Critical Systems----Administrator/Receptionist----Job Description----Overview--The receptionist is the main point of contact for Mission Critical Systems' headquarters office for both phone and office visitor reception.-- This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.------Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:---- Communications--

  • Answer main telephone line and direct calls, including taking and relaying messages and providing information to callers--
  • Thank you for calling Mission Critical Systems.-- This is __________.-- How may I help you?--
  • Coordinate phone coverage when not available--
  • Greet persons entering office---- Mail and Deliveries--
    • Receive and sort mail and deliveries--
    • Deposit checks via remote deposit and sent to A/R. Received bills are filed and sent to payables----
    • Send out mailings and packages as requested. Provide tracking numbers to senders---- General Administration--
      • General administrative and clerical support (A/P, A/R, HR, Orders, Marketing)--
      • Assist with customer and vendor email notifications, running report and general support--
      • NetSuite updates (as requested by management)---- Housekeeping--
        • Basic housekeeping of common office areas----
        • Recycling - Only recyclable items go into outside recycling bin--
        • Ensure basic supplies are stocked in areas of use - make sure delivery fee is zeroed out of Instacart----Education and Experience--
          • Some college education preferred--
          • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures--
          • 40+ wpm typing----
          • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software required--
          • Experience with NetSuite preferred--Key Competencies--
            • Excellent verbal and written communication skills--
            • Professional personal presentation--
            • Customer service orientation--

            • Initiative--
            • Reliability/Punctuality--
            • Ability to work independently--
