Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare various tax returns and informational filings to ensure
compliance with tax laws and filing requirements
Review asset cost basis information and corporate actions with tax
or basis consequences
Respond to correspondence from tax authorities and develop
procedures to ensure compliance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
combination of education and experience
Good understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts
Knowledge of federal, state, and local income, use, and sales tax
practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Ability to meet critical deadlines and maintain confidentiality
