BioStem Technologies is seeking a proactive and resourceful Accounting Associate who can provide the highest quality month-end financial close duties while also undertaking various other tasks endemic to a young, fast-growing company. The desired candidate will be a problem solver with the desire to work in a dynamic environment.The Accounting Associate be an integral part of the BioStem team and provide critical support to both the accounting department and the organization. The successful Accounting Associate will be self-motivated and energized by working with a group of thoughtful, smart, and skilled colleagues. He or she will enjoy being a part of a young and hungry organization focused on making products that change lives-- - Month end close, including balance sheet reconciliations-- - Assist with month-end, quarterly and annual financial reporting-- - Collaborate with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts-- - Collaborate with the Finance team to continuously improve the financial reporting process.-- - Create and monitor open Purchase Orders-- - Pay vendors and monitor accounts payable agingQualifications and Skills-- - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or other related majors-- - Fluent in Microsoft Office products, emphasis on Excel.-- - Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles-- - Attention to detail-- - Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities-- - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills-- - Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment-- - High degree of integrity-- - Dedicated work ethic and commitment to enhancing the team-- - Outstanding organization, decision making and problem-solving skills-- - Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to work for a dynamic and successful organizationPI174564122SDL2017
